originally established as part of the Department of Liquor Control and

Rule Review: In 1996 the 121st General Assembly enacted Substitute House Bill 473 which generally requires state agencies to set for each of its rules a review date that is not later than five years after the rule's effective date or the rule's immediately preceding review date, but only if the rule is subject to review by the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review (JCARR).
The Commission welcomes public input on rules. The Commission's rule review schedule for years 2007 through 2011 is updated as rules are reviewed. The Commissions Guide to Rule-Making and Public Participation gives the public information as to how they can get involved in the rule-review process.
